OUR STORY
Real Ingredients. Real Flavor. Real Good.

It Started with a Dream (and a Really Good Gyro)
We didn’t come from a long line of restaurateurs. We came from a family that believed
the best conversations happen around food — loud ones, messy ones, the kind where
someone always reaches across the table to steal a fry. For years, we dreamed of
building a place where that energy lived every single day. A place where the food hit
different because it was made by people who actually cared.
That dream became Urban Melt — right here in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
No Shortcuts. No Weird Stuff. Just Good Food.
We’re a family-owned, scratch-kitchen restaurant, and we take that seriously. Our fries?
Fresh cut daily — no freezer bags, no pre-packaged nonsense. Our fried chicken?
Brined, seasoned, and fried in-house from whole pieces. Our sauces and dressings?
Every single one is handcrafted from scratch in our kitchen. From the garlicky tzatziki on
our Greek gyros to the smoky chipotle aioli dripping off our smash burgers, you can
taste the difference when it’s real.
Everything on our menu is made with 100% natural ingredients. That’s not a marketing
line — it’s a family promise.
Comfort Classics, Remixed
Urban Melt is where global street food meets American comfort. We bring together the
flavors we grew up loving — juicy Greek gyros wrapped tight with fresh-cut veggies,
loaded smash burgers with melted cheese, crispy wings tossed in sauces that slap, pita
bites, hearty wraps, fresh salads, and signature boba drinks to wash it all down.
Whether you’re a meat lover, a veggie fan, or somewhere in between, there’s
something on our menu calling your name.
We built this menu for people who want bold, street-inspired flavor without the wait —
served fast, done right, and made to order every single time.
More Than a Restaurant
We’re not just another spot on the block. Urban Melt is where our family shows up for
yours. When you walk through our door, we want you to feel the same thing we felt
around our own table growing up — welcome, fed, and happy. Every fresh-cut fry, every
hand-mixed sauce, every perfectly wrapped gyro is our way of saying: we don’t cut
corners on the people we feed.
